The best tour to get acquainted with the city. During aprox. 3 hours we'll see the most important buildings, avenues and squares with an expert official guide who will explain about the monuments and their history. During the different historical periods the city has grown from the old Habsburg and Bourbons quarters to the present city.
We will also visit the inside of the impressive Royal Palace, former residence of the Spanish Kings and beautifully furnished and decorated. You will be able to admire the official Reception rooms, the Museum area, the Royal Chapel, the Throne Room and the private rooms of King Charles III and Queen Elisabeth II. Built in the 18th century on the site of the old Alcazar castle of the Austrias, the palace is designed in classical baroque style,with an italian flavour.
