We will start walking from the Plaza de Santa Ana, with the outstanding Teatro Espanol, one of the first Corral de Comedias (open-air theatres), built in the XVIth Century. Nearby we find the Plaza del Angel, where the Convento de Felipe Neri and the Teatro de Comedias de la Cruz used to be, and not far away, the Iglesia Parroquial de San Sebastian, where many well-known, politics, writers and artists where baptised, married or buried. We return towards the Calle del Prado, full of elegant antique shops and traditional Cafes of Madrid. We will continue our walk towards the Calle de Lope de Vega, where the Convento de Trinitarias Descalzas, convent where Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, who perished in 1616, was buried, is found. We continue going past the Calle de Quevedo, where the house of this enlightened Spanish writer stands, and then take the Calle de Cervantes. In this street, we will see the Casa-Museo de Lope de Vega (house-museum of Lope de Vega), treasure of the XVIIth Century, and then continue towards the Iglesia de Jesus de Medinaceli, a church to which many people from Madrid are devote.
